Do I need a paid Sport.Video subscription to create a PPV channel?

No. You can start a PPV channel even with a Free or Trial Sport.Video subscription. However, your Sport.Video plan still determines the video quality and the amount of content you can produce and publish.

How do payouts work?

Revenue from subscriptions is collected in your account as platform credit. Once your balance exceeds the minimum payout threshold, you can submit a payout request and receive the funds.

Can I use my earned credits to pay for my Sport.Video subscription?

Not yet. Currently, subscription fees must be paid separately. However, we are working on enabling this option so you can pay for your Sport.Video subscription directly from your earnings.

Can I offer other payment models besides monthly subscriptions?

At the moment, only monthly subscriptions are supported. We may expand the available monetization models in the future.

Do I need a legal entity to receive payouts?

Yes. To receive payouts, you must have an entity capable of issuing invoices, such as a registered company or a self-employed business.

Can I change the subscription price?

Yes. You can update your subscription price at any time. However, please note that if the new price is higher, existing subscriptions will be cancelled, and users will need to subscribe again at the new price.

How do I start monetizing my channel?

If you already have a Sport.Video account:
1. Go to your Dashboard.
2. Make sure you are logged in as the account owner.
3. Navigate to Channels.
4. Select Edit on the channel you want to monetize.
5. In the channel settings, enable Premium and set the monthly subscription price.

How do I control which content is monetized?

Monetization is configured per game. When editing a game in the dashboard, you can set its Viewing Access to either Free or Premium.

You can also define a default viewing access in the channel settings, which will automatically apply to newly created games. For scheduled games, the viewing access can be set directly during creation.

Can multiple channels share the same user subscription?

No. Each channel has its own subscription. A user subscription is valid only for the specific channel they subscribed to.
